Art Historians Hangout

May 13, 2014

This spring I’ve been working with the website Art HistoryTeaching Resources to launch an on-line discussion series AHTR Hangouts (held via Google+ Hangouts) for art history instructors interested in talking with colleagues about their teaching interests.  The idea originated this year at THATCampCAA, and took off with the support of AHTR’s founding editors Michelle Millar Fisher and Karen Shelby.  This spring, we’ll host 3 live hangouts on “Teaching Thematically” (May 13), “Summer School Teaching” (June 4), and “Art Historians Hacking the MOOC” (July 1) with plans to be back with more in the fall!  For more information and to post suggestions about topics you’d like to discuss, follow the AHTR Hangouts Google+ Page.
