Institutional Program Development

  • Art History Program, University of North Carolina at Asheville (2002-2006)
    • Developed departmental curriculum for BA concentration in art history
    • Oversaw program’s approval process through all levels of university administration
    • Requested/received funding to improve facilities  used for art history classes
    • Requested/secured additional tenure-track faculty position in art history
    • 49 students have graduated with the concentration degree as of May 2012 (UNCA’s total enrollment=3600)
    • BA degree in art history established 2013
  • School Program, Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art (MOCA, Cleveland) (1999-2002)
    • Established on-going educational program for students 4-12th grades
    • Created a protocol for docent and staff led tours of exhibitions
    • Secured external funding to pay transportation costs for public schools
