Measuring College Learning in Art History

A collaboration between the Social Science Research Council and the College Art Association, the Measuring College Learning panel in Art History convened in 2017 to lay the groundwork for establishing a framework of essential concepts, competencies, and potential avenues for an assessment tool in the introductory course in Art History. The final report, which includes the committee’s framework, is openly available as a guide for faculty, programs, and institutions as the develop learning outcomes in art history.
